They made pop what it is today. I seem to think this occured either when the frequencies changed in November 1978 or in early 1979. Also when did the Top 20 become the Top 40, Radio Rewind mentions in the feature on the charts that this occured when the Bates replaced Tom Browne, but I'm sure it was in November 1978. It must be at the same period as other releases like Captain Sensible, or Trio ( da da da I' don't love you, you don't love me ).
